Twelve

Twelve - J. Michael Straczynski, Chris Weston I feel like this was probably more like a 3 1/2 star read. I liked it but I felt like it lacked a little in originality and there were some missed opportunities to do something great. It pretty solid though and you don't need to have any prior knowledge of the Marvel Universe to enjoy it. The premise of course is that these twelve golden age superheros get frozen during WWII and woken up in modern times. What follows is them trying to reconnect with the modern age. One of them gets killed and there is an attempt at a murder mystery that wasn't quite that mysterious. It doesn't compare to well done suspense like the story in Identity Crisis, does. I still thought that it's pretty fun, and you'll probably like it if you are into the nostalgia comics.
