Green Arrow, Vol. 1: The Midas Touch

Green Arrow, Vol. 1: The Midas Touch - Dan Jurgens, J.T. Krul, Various I was a fan of this character pre-52 but they've stripped him of everything that made him interesting to read about. No womanising, no Black Canary, no Roy Harper, no Mia, no Conner, no more hippie love child, or liberal politics. The only thing I approve of is the updated look. The side characters are all obnoxious to read about, and the dialog is stilted and bad. It really feels like reading a much older comic and not a good one. I've heard the series has improved in recent issues but pushing through two more volumes of this ilk is going to be mind numbingly boring.
